This policy explains what information SwasthBook collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to help you book and attend medical appointments.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email, phone number and, optionally, date of birth and gender.
- Family members — if you book for a family member, the name and details you add for them.
- Booking information — the clinic, doctor, service, date and time of your appointments, and any notes you provide.
- Payment information — processed by our payment partner Razorpay. We receive a payment status and reference, but we never see or store your full card or bank details.
2. How we use your information
- to create and manage your account;
- to make, confirm, reschedule and cancel your appointments;
- to process consultation-fee payments and refunds;
- to send booking confirmations and appointment reminders; and
- to keep the service secure and improve it.
3. Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to provide the service:
- The clinic you book — receives your booking details so it can prepare for and provide your appointment.
- Razorpay — our payment processor, to take payments and issue refunds, under its own privacy and security terms.
- Infrastructure providers — we host data with Supabase (a secure cloud database and authentication provider).
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Data security
Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level security, so you can only see your own records and clinics can only see bookings made with them. Payment card data is handled entirely by Razorpay and never reaches our servers.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your personal information, and withdraw consent for non-essential processing. To make a request, email hello@swasthbook.com.
7. Children
SwasthBook accounts are for adults. Appointments for minors should be booked and managed by a parent or guardian through their own account.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. We encourage you to review it periodically.
