These Terms govern your use of SwasthBook, a platform that helps patients discover doctors and clinics, book appointments and pay consultation fees online. By creating an account or booking through SwasthBook, you agree to these Terms.
SwasthBook ("SwasthBook", "we", "us") is operated by Sangram Abhiman Shinde. SwasthBook is a technology platform that connects patients with independent clinics and doctors. We are not a healthcare provider and do not practise medicine.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may book on behalf of family members you add to your account, and you are responsible for those bookings.
2. Bookings
When you book an appointment, you are requesting a time slot with an independent clinic listed on SwasthBook. The clinic is solely responsible for the medical services it provides, including their quality, safety and outcomes. SwasthBook facilitates the booking and payment but is not a party to the clinical relationship between you and the clinic.
3. Fees & payments
Some clinics require you to prepay a consultation fee to confirm your appointment. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. The amount is always shown to you before you pay and is charged in Indian Rupees (INR). We do not store your card or bank details; these are handled directly by Razorpay under their security standards.
4. Cancellations & refunds
You may cancel or reschedule an appointment from your account. Refund eligibility for prepaid consultation fees is described in our Cancellation & Refunds policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform. In particular, you will not:
- book appointments you do not intend to honour, or make fraudulent payments;
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- disrupt, probe or reverse-engineer the service; or
- use SwasthBook for any unlawful purpose.
6. Medical disclaimer
Information on SwasthBook is for general and scheduling purposes only and is not medical advice. Always rely on the qualified medical professional treating you. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SwasthBook is not liable for the acts, omissions or clinical services of any clinic, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid through SwasthBook for that booking.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of SwasthBook means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
